More new faces in the Ladies 4s development side this week with debuts for Ashleigh Copping and the welcome return, having graduated from university of Louisa Coffey. Still building as a side, Maidstone worked hard to improve their marking this week but still have more to do as Meopham’s goals were slotted in by players who had been allowed to run free in the danger zone. Maidstone attacked more positively and had increased shots at goal and attacking penalty corners this week, and were unlucky not to get their first league goal of the season. Niamh O’Reilly was solid in goal, narrowly missing out on Player of the Match newcomer Ashleigh Copping on her club debut.
