Ladies 3s vs Canterbury

This week saw a few changes to the squad but despite this, Maidstone started brightly creating several chances and were unlucky not be at least a goal up after 10 mins. Out of nowhere, Canterbury scored 2 goals in quick succession to take the advantage. Maidstone tried hard to fight back and regain some control and shortly before halftime, pulled one back from a short corner when debutant, Amber calmly slotted the ball home from being well positioned on the right post.
The second half saw much of the same patterns of play, Maidstone again were creating more chances and probably had a slight advantage in possessional play, however, again, Canterbury managed to grab another goal to regain their 2 goal advantage.
Maidstone continued to work hard, once again creating the better chances and through good work on the right from Amber, Bethan was unlucky not to finish off the move when her strong shot was saved.
POM went to Hannah for her hard work in midfield, closely followed by Becky and Bethan. Well done to both Amber and Freya, having great games after being pulled up to the squad from the 4s.
