Sevenoaks 4s 1 - Maidstone 2s 2

The ladies 2s managed to get their first win of the season with a 3-1 victory away to Sevenoaks 4s.
Maidstone were made to defend for the first 10 mins but some solid defending from Carly Brinn and gk maddy grove kept it 0-0. Then a quick break from Maidstone saw Julie Davies cut inside from the left wing to play a ball through to Rachel Davies waiting at the top of the d to impressively slot the ball home, 1-0 Maidstone.
Sevenoaks upped their game winning short corner after short corner to eventually break the Maidstone defense and make it 1-1 at half time.
Maidstone were far more positive and organised after the break and the midfield started to control the game resulting in captain Amanda Gates breaking into the d and her powerful strike was touched in by Pom Rachel Davies to claim hers and Maidstones 2nd goal. A great all round team performance was topped off with a stunning strike from the top of the d from Vic O’reilly to give Maidstone a well deserved 3-1 win.
