Away at top of the table Burnt Ash, Maidstone were 1-0 down within 2 minutes with a soft goal. However Josh Lake equalised shortly afterwards following up a shot which hit the left hand post. Despite best efforts the younger legs of the home side enabled them, with some luck at times, to end the first half 4-1 up.
A more consistent second half enabled Maidstone to create chances after going 5-1 down, with a brace of goals from Nigel Swaffer only to see a break away restore Burnt Ash’s 3 goal advantage. Conrad Thrower scooped a fourth for Maidstone and a late rally saw them come close a couple of times. All match Adrian Styance in goal keep Maidstone in the game and earned him the MOM award.
