Maidstone host Ashford in the last game of the season on the back of 6 wins in a row.
The game starts as expected with Maidstone applying lots of pressure and with some great passing moves have the Ashford goal under siege, captain Barry Coffey is unfortunately not up to par and misses several chances. However 2nd in command Ian Lowe steps up to open the scoring. The Ashford team were not going to roll over and give in, they were able to start putting together some good moves and held Maidstone close enough to keep the game interesting.
A tough but enjoyable game saw both teams pressing hard and playing some great hockey, 2 more goals from Ian plus 2 each for Mark Bromley and Ash Messenger sees the final score at 7-4.
A really great season from a group of players who have grown into a formidable team.
