Maidstone came into this contest knowing nothing but their best would beat a strong, well structured Sevenoaks.

For Maidstone it was all about compacting the middle and stopping their creative players through the middle. Although having done this well Maidstone found themselves a goal down.

Maidstone knowing they had to react kept tight, well composed and kept great belief. Maidstone one a short corner and with the keeper making a good initial first save fro Price's hit at the top they could only rebound the ball to the top of the 'D' where Andy Turner was waiting to push the ball into the side board. 1-1.

Having got themselves back into the game with chances coming from all angles, Maidstone will feel agrieved in the manner of the goal conceded shortly after the equaliser with a simple flat pass across goal to the back post for a tap in to make it 2-1 to Sevenoaks.

Again Maidstone were able to reply in no time at all thanks to a Price hit to the near post leaving Chris Fahy, the youngster showing great intricity with a deft touch to beat the keeper at his near post. 2-2.
