Maidstone men's 4s

Maidstone needed a good start against Ksports and they got it. From the outset Maidstone were in charge,closing down the ball and intercepting. Dominating the game from the start. A brilliantly worked passing and moving attack saw Charlie through on goal, his shot parried by the keeper straight to the Maidstone captain who's push was again saved by the keeper only to drop to Adam who coolly took his time and slotted into the back of the net.1-0 Maidstone.
Another great move from the midfield with passes wide, back inside and then out to the wing again saw Maidstone clear down the right with a clinical cross being swept first time straight into the top corner by Matt. 2-0 Maidstone.
After the break it was more of the same with great play from the whole team, dominant and confident performances from everyone, leading to many more shots on target with the Ksports keeper having an amazing game, saving most of the shots coming from so many different Maidstone stacks without which it could easily have been double figures for Maidstone. Finally, again from build up play right across the team, Charlie picks up a line ball was and drives into the D, seeing his path to the goal blocked by 3 defenders he looked up and passed across the top to Ed who smashed the ball passed the outstretched keeper for another excellent goal. 3-0.
Another brilliant performance from Maidstone was this week rewarded with 3points.
The whole team played so well that our keeper did not touch the ball the whole game which just goes to show the effort put in by everyone.
