Maidstone Hockey Club is one of the oldest clubs in the country, founded in 1878. It is located at South Park, Armstrong Road near the centre of Maidstone, the county town of Kent. We run 11 adult sides and 6 junior teams. Find out more about us.
Sports Minister Switched on the Lights
On Saturday 23rd November the new pitch lights were officially 'switched on' by Helen Grant, the new Sports Minister and local MP. Also attending were Hannah Blaydon from Sport England, Sally Munday the Chief Executive of England Hockey, Rich Beer the Development Director EHB, Eric Hotson Chairman of Kent County Council, Clive English Mayor of Maidstone, John Wilson MBC Community & Leisure Services Cabinet member. Rock up on Sunday. 9.15 for U12; 10.30 for 12s and over.
Every Sunday there are teas, coffees, hot chocolates and pastries available at the pitch side (yellow gazebo). Cheap. Bring your own garden chair, money & enjoy!
