Maidstone men's 4s

As has happened so many times this season, Maidstone 4s dominated the pitch. Midfield working hard to control the game and creating many chances from the outset. The defence were strong when needed and fed the ball around very well and a great play from the back led to the opening goal which Charlie neatly put into the net from the post. 1-0 .
New Becks capitalised on a rare mistake to draw level just before half time.
The second half saw Maidstone dominant again but a defensive Change at half time saw the Maidstone centre forward being more tightly marked but this gave the two attacking midfielders more space but unfortunately we were unable to capitalize on some great plays. New Becks were allowed a bit too much space a couple of time and they did very well to score a couple of quick goals. Maidstone then managed to slot home 1 of the short corners that they earned through their excellent attacking to bring them within 1 of the team currently 2nd in the league but we lost momentum leading to another chance which the opposition put away.
Final score 4-2.
Again we were very unlucky to lose a game we dominated for most of the 70 minutes.
Another great performance from a team who are improving every match but are ultimately not getting the run of luck we do deserve.
