The club has spent over half of its 129 year existence located at South Park, in Armstrong Road, Maidstone. The original clubhouse was built in the mid 1960s and saw, over the following decades, numerous extensions as the Club expanded. So for 40 years it has witnessed many changes (mostly positive), wonderful celebrations and fantastic functions. But it started creaking......and leaking.....so.....
In 2006 the club committed itself to a new purpose-built £600,000 Clubhouse, on the same site in South Park. It was opened in November 2006 by Anne Widdecombe, Maidstone's MP, and is now fully operational. It's a fantastic facility.
The Clubhouse has a fully equiped bar and kitchen, disabled toilets, power-point projector and screen, computer plug in facilities, and television. It can accommodate 150 people. Plus, there is excellent off-street parking in the adjacent free public car park. It is available for hire - for conferences, seminars, meetings; and for parties, dances and dinners.
